Our Fort Wayne locations are not able to sponsor J-1 waivers except for mental health, research, or graduate medical education. Intensivist Physicians – Multiple Positions available. For not-for-profit hospital, provide critical care to all patients including the indigent, homeless, and uninsured. Biweekly 7 day rotations of alternating 12 hour shifts. Must have M.D. or foreign equivalent, Indiana Medical License, and Board Certification or Eligibility in Critical Care Medicine. Hospitalists (Multiple Positions Available) – For not-for-profit hospital, provide primary, secondary, and acute care to all patients including the indigent, homeless, and uninsured. Biweekly rotations of 7 day, 12 hour shifts. Must have MD/DO or foreign equivalent, Indiana Medical License (physician or osteopathic physician), and Board Eligibility or Certification in Internal Medicine OR Board Certification in Family Medicine plus completion of Hospital Medicine Fellowship. Pediatrician – For not-for-profit hospital, provide primary medical management in the Hospital pediatric care ward and pediatric clinic to all pediatric patients including low-income and disadvantaged communities. Provide sports related physicals and regular “well-child” assessments of pediatric patients, oversee the administration of required childhood vaccinations, and consult with parents about child safety, behavior, and development. Anesthesiologists (multiple positions available) - For not-for-profit hospital, provide anesthesia medical services to hospital and surgery center patients, including the administration of pain relief for medical procedures, monitoring vital signs during procedures, informing patients of risks, and supervising assistants and nurse anesthetists. M-F 7AM-5PM, 10-hour day and 14-hour night shifts required, minimum 2196 hours per year.
