Provides over $95 million in community benefit to 50+ non-profits that provide services to underserved areas.
Addressing urban food deserts through a new community grocery store, community greenhouse and produce prescription program.
Community nursing outreach to homeless at the Rescue Mission and Charis House.
Free childhood vaccinations through the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
Free mammograms through Francine’s Friends Mobile Mammography to underserved areas.

Reducing the cost of care

Economic driver in major projects, education and quality of life

Host more than 2,600 students for hands-on learning experiences in Parkview facilities annually.
Partner with 44 high schools to support work-based learning experiences for students in Indiana and Ohio.
Gift 10+ Parkview clinicians to serve as clinical instructors of nursing and imaging to local colleges and universities.
Investments in multiple economic development projects, including Parkview Field and Electric Works, in partnership with local economic development organizations and local governments.

Financial responsibility to ensure long-term sustainability

Maintains a strong bond rating to ensure access to capital.
Invests over $2 billion in facilities, preserving northeast Indiana’s largest community asset.
Sustains strong financial reserves to respond to unplanned emergencies such as natural disasters, pandemics and other unexpected business disruptions, to ensure Parkview is here for our communities for generations to come.

Preserving rural healthcare

Maintains 319 inpatient beds across 8 rural community hospitals.

Built 3 new replacement community hospitals and added 1 new hospital in northeast Indiana.

Subsidizes ambulance services in 8 northeast Indiana counties.

Started a graduate medical education (GME) program to help ensure our region has the physicians we need—150 new physicians by 2030 from our program.

Expanded specialty services via digital health to patients across the region.

Initiatives accomplished in 2024:

Parkview opened a 24/7 Virtual Walk-in Clinic, available in all 50 states.

Mobile medical training lab launched by Mirro Center / EMS Foundation to serve the region.

Welcomed the new mobile mammography coach with the Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute in an unveiling event with the Francine's Friends founders.

Parkview Huntington was certified with Level 1 Obstetrics and Level 1 Neonatal Care from the Indiana Department of Health.

Expanded virtual clinics for our medical specialty groups in our community hospitals.

Parkview Kosciusko Family Birthing Center opened in September.

New Leonardo medical helicopter introduced to the Samaritan fleet, based out of Rochester, Indiana.

Expanded primary care services in rural communities including Bluffton, Peru and Goshen to meet the needs of patients and their families.
