Chief Information Officer, Parkview Health
Ron Double was named chief information officer for Parkview Health in May 2008. He oversees all information technology-related activities, including overall management of the staff and technology in support of all application software, the voice and data network, mainframe computing environment, client/server computing environment, end-user devices, data center operations and IS service center/help desk.
Ron has served on the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center board since 2019, serving as vice-chair in 2023 and chair in 2024. He also serves on professional advisory boards for Purdue Fort Wayne School of Polytechnic, and Trine University Computer Science and Information Technology. Additionally, he is on the industry advisory committee for Purdue Fort Wayne Information Technology.His professional organizations include the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the College of Health Information Management Executives (CHIME). He is involved in the Epic CIO Council and KLAS Research.Ron earned a bachelor's degree from Purdue University Fort Wayne and a master's degree from Indiana University Fort Wayne.
