Chief Quality and Safety Officer
Jeffrey Boord, MD, joined Parkview Health in 2015 as chief quality and safety officer. He provides oversight of the Quality and Accreditation and Infection Prevention Departments at Parkview Health and collaborates closely with leadership teams for each hospital facility and service line on healthcare quality, accreditation, patient and worker safety, and process improvement.
Dr. Boord earned a medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency at University of Michigan Hospitals, and an endocrinology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology. He also completed a fellowship in healthcare quality with the Veterans Affairs National Quality Scholars Fellowship Program. He earned a master's degree in public health from Vanderbilt University.
