The BEE Award was adopted by Parkview in 2026 to celebrate and honor nursing support staff who exemplify excellence in patient care. A companion to the DAISY Award, which recognizes extraordinary nurses, the BEE Award serves as a lighthearted way to symbolize the relationship between nurses and other team members.
Who is eligible?
Any Parkview employee working in a role supporting patient care outside of nursing and respiratory therapy can be nominated for the BEE Award. These positions include but are not limited to the following:
- CNAs
- Diagnostic imaging staff
- Environmental services aides
- Food and nutrition staff
- Lab personnel
- Patient access staff
- Secretaries
How do nominations work?
Nominations can be submitted by co-workers, patients, and families of patients.
Selection and ceremonies
BEE Award winners will be selected by a committee and will be honored throughout the year. Recipients will receive a BEE Award pin along with a certificate of recognition.
