Intro to Integrative Nutrition, the Foundation of Integrative Medicine
This group is the first step in your integrative health journey. Learn the importance of healthy gastrointestinal function and how healing the GI tract can improve many health conditions- beginning with eating whole foods, which is key to inflammation. This group will set you up for success in making necessary dietary changes by giving you several tools, like Scorecard for Healthy Living, to help you stay on track. This is required for all new patients.
Blood Sugar - Insulin Balance
Join us as we discuss how regulation of blood sugar and insulin help control inflammation and chronic disease. You will learn about how specific foods and lifestyle can help calm inflammation and create better health.
Balanced Hormones
Join us for a discussion about the role hormones play in fatigue, hot flashes, sleep, concentration, sex drive and mood. We will also examine the evidence around the safety and benefits of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).
Understanding your Thyroid
This group will discuss a general overview of thyroid physiology, and common thyroid disorders and symptoms. We will talk about thyroid testing including TSH, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibody testing. You will be educated on types of thyroid medications and receive instructions on how to best take thyroid medications. This group will help you understand that LIFESTYLE management is the key to reversing inflammation and illness in the body.
Brain Matters
Difficulty with memory, problems with concentrating, difficulty with energy, headaches, and fatigue as well as other symptoms can tell us a lot about the health of the brain, central nervous system and our cells. Come learn about the role of nutrition and how lifestyle can improve brain health. We will talk about the mighty mitochondria, our body’s energy production warehouses in every cell.
Detoxing from Sugar
This interactive class will help you understand how to portion carbs, protein and fat to lose weight and reduce inflammation. Participants are encouraged to bring a completed week long diet diary and their smartphone to the class.

This one-hour class will discuss the different types of pain and how use supplements, diet and gentle exercise to improve pain levels. We will have the chance to practice self-massage, breathing techniques and do a gentle seated yoga routine.
