You have been referred to the Women’s Heart Clinic at Parkview Heart Institute because you are at risk of or have been diagnosed with heart disease and are pregnant, or you have been diagnosed with other conditions such as gestational diabetes or preeclampsia.
While these conditions often resolve after pregnancy, they have been linked to a higher risk of developing heart disease and stroke later in life.
For questions about the Women’s Heart Clinic, please call 260-346-4884. You must be referred to our clinic by your primary care provider or obstetrician.
At the Women’s Heart Clinic, a physician will determine the best treatment options for you. Recommended treatment will depend on your medical history and a physical examination. Throughout your care, the clinic’s care team will work closely with your OB/GYN to ensure that your needs are addressed and a plan for follow up is in place.
