You have been referred to the Cardio-Oncology Clinic at Parkview Heart Institute because you are undergoing treatment for cancer and either have a pre-existing heart condition or may be receiving cardio-toxic chemotherapy or radiation. These treatments may weaken the heart muscle or cause abnormal heart rhythms. Our team includes physicians with specialization in general cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Upon referral, your patient’s current condition and history will be evaluated by members of the care team to identify the best treatment plan for that individual, considering the physiological status and co-morbidities.
