Lamaze® Childbirth Class

Center for Healthy Living, Maternity & Parenting, Support Groups

This Lamaze course can help mothers-to-be and their partners explore the physical, emotional and social aspects of childbirth. Join Jessica Klausing, BSN, RN, LCCE, Parkview Whitley Hospital, for this class. She will help you prepare for the exciting addition to your family: your new baby! You must attend both classes.

Breastfeeding Support Group - Parkview Regional Medical Center (Fridays)

This group meets every Tuesday evening (7-8 pm) in the Family Birthing Center conference room, and Friday morning (9-10 am) at Entrance 4 in the third-floor conference room. Excluding holidays.

This is a drop-in group, no appointment needed (Mom and baby preferred). Lactation consultants are available to help with breast feeding needs, weight-based feeding assessment and pumping concerns.

Mom's Group

Mom’s Group is a support group where moms can go to have their baby weighed, have questions answered by a Parkview lactation consultant and RN, and interact with other moms. Mom’s Group also features crafts for moms to do with their children.
