Proud to Bleed Green: Myra

People of Parkview

Myra Morones, LPN, licensed practical nurse, Parkview Health, has served patients at the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center at Parkview Hospital Randallia for the last eight years. Her daily responsibilities include hands-on patient care in collaboration with therapists, physicians and registered nurses.

For Myra, the greatest reward is watching her patients graduate through the transitions that accompany a health setback. Their smiles when they realize they’ve made it to a point where they can go home and be with their loved ones fuels her in her work and daily interactions.

Parkview pride

Hearing the positive things people have to say about Parkview’s presence in the community, regarding both the healthcare the system provides, and the programs and services Parkview supports outside of its facilities, drives Myra’s loyalty to Team Green. She feels good being associated with an organization that’s dedicated to truly helping those in the areas it serves.

In addition, Myra shared that she receives a great deal of support from her managers and co-workers. “We work well as a team, and it really does feel like a family,” she said. “Plus, there are opportunities for growth and to learn new things. They really encourage you to go back to school, and there’s tuition reimbursement if you choose to do so. There are so many opportunities if you want to be a part of Parkview.”
