The Parkview Mirro Center Simulation Lab is ranked among the top facilities of its kind in the country. The team focuses on advanced medical simulation and training for high-acuity scenarios for post-graduate and medical professionals, and work with a number of universities and organizations throughout northern Indiana to facilitate high-level learning.
The Sim Lab opened in March 2015 and has accreditation from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSiH) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). The 4000-square-foot facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support simulation training, which is proven to have a direct positive effect on clinical outcomes.
