In December 2021, Thomas Pabst, a retired teacher and avid woodworker, started experiencing severe pain in his lower back that radiated down his leg. After trying physical therapy, with no relief, Thom was referred to Ahmer Ghori, MD, SpineONE, Ortho Northeast.
Dr. Ghori was able to identify a slipped vertebra, also referred to as spondylolisthesis, in Thom’s imaging. Thankfully, Thom was a good candidate for minimally invasive spine surgery, which Dr. Ghori performed this past spring.
Thom’s entire care team, including April Christlieb, PA-C, SpineONE, Ortho Northeast, is thrilled with his results. Thom is back to doing the things he loves and improving more each day.
