Jeffrey Rockett, vice president of operations, Parkview Kosciusko Hospital and Parkview Whitley Hospital, shared some insights as to how leaders decided which services to offer at the new Parkview Kosciusko Hospital.
Watch the video on the Vision for Parkview Kosciusko.
Senior leaders involved with Parkview Warsaw spent several years talking about and learning what community members wanted from a hospital.
First floor
In addition to the Emergency Room, patients can utilize expanded outpatient services, including cancer services. This includes clinical space with seven exam rooms, an infusion center with nine infusion bays and a healing garden.
Second floor
On the second floor, we are excited to offer surgical services, including two operating rooms, two procedure rooms and 19 pre- and post-PACU bays.
Third floor
The third floor will be used for inpatient services, with 28 beds to serve patients in need of inpatient care in the community.
This expansion allows Parkview to offer a patient- and community-focused option for people in need of healthcare, with the advantage of having these services close to home. It brings another option to healthcare decision-making and demonstrates that we are listening to our patients when it comes to their wellness needs.
