CCBHC-IA: Reimagining Mental Health Care
About
In September 2023, Parkview Behavioral Health Institute (PBHI, Park Center) was awarded funding to expand mental health and substance use services across three counties in Northeast Indiana (Adams, Allen, and Wells) over the next four years. This funding will be utilized to expand access to care while also increasing referrals to additional services (e.g., peer navigation programs) and resources. The program aims to increase capacity of mental health and substance use services, increase collaboration between physical and mental health services, and increase the diversity of the behavioral health workforce and the populations served.
Parkview Research Center is supporting this effort by working to optimize data collection and reporting through our role as the program evaluation team. Previously, we collaborated with Park Center on related mental health care expansion efforts as program evaluators for a prior SAMHSA CCBHC grant.
