The Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation has adopted a bold mission to provide opportunities that will open new doors and, potentially, revolutionize healthcare and save lives of individuals close to you. This mission is an extension of the commitment that Parkview has made to communities it serves throughout northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio and south-central Michigan.
As one of the few research and innovation centers in the United States affiliated with a not-for-profit community health system, the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation seeks to encourage collaboration among clinicians, non-clinicians and research participants and to create an environment that nurtures creativity, leverages innovation, and builds inter-professional research teams — all the while keeping the needs of research participants and community at the center of every activity.
When construction was complete on the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation, Parkview’s administrative offices for medical research activities moved to this new facility. While the Parkview Research Center has a 25-year-plus history, other programs within the Mirro Center have recently been introduced to complement the work of the research center.
