Transitional Year Residency Curriculum
Parkview Health has significant resources to provide the curricular requirements so transitional year resident physicians can proceed to their advanced program. Our specialty program will have fundamental clinical skills education caring for patients broadly in the areas of internal medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, and obstetrics and gynecology. A robust education in both ambulatory and inpatient medicine will provide the transitional year resident physician with the required skills to proceed to an advanced residency. In addition, our specialty program will provide opportunities for electives to broaden their education and experience different fields of medicine.
