Program signaling

Our Transitional Year Residency program has opted to participate in program signals this year. While we will preferentially review applications from those who signal our program, we also consider applicants who do not signal us. We use the signal as part of a holistic process to help decide who to interview.

Interviews

Interview dates will be posted in Fall 2024.

Interviews will be conducted virtually between October of the current year and January of the following year to fill our residency class. Thalamus will be utilized to schedule and conduct interviews.  If invited, you will receive an email from Thalamus to schedule your interview.

Formal interviews will be held with the Program Director, Associate Program Directors and various transitional year faculty. The interview day will include a combination of assessments to identify applicants best suited to succeed in our program, while providing an introduction to Parkview Health’s mission, vision, values and daily operations.

Applicants will be evaluated on personal, academic, and patient-care qualities during the interview process.

We encourage each applicant to come prepared with their own questions.

NRMP Match

Following the NRMP Match, applicants matching to one of our specialty programs will begin orientation around mid-June.

We hope that you will learn from us during your visit, and ultimately, choose our program to be your next training home.

Parkview Health is committed to providing equal opportunity for all applicants to our residency programs and adheres to nondiscriminatory practices and policies in the recruitment, appointment, and retention of resident physicians.

Parkview Health does not discriminate with regard to race, gender, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation (including gender identity) or status as a protected veteran.
