Three Northrop seniors made their college athletic plans official, putting pen to paper during a signing ceremony on Dave Riley Court at Schoeff Gymnasium.
Mansa Wimes signed with the men’s soccer program at Trine University. Mansa is a 3-time varsity letter winner, and was selected 1st Team All-Summit Athletic Conference twice, 2nd Team All-District, and team Offensive Player of the Year twice. He helped the Bruins to a sectional championship and two SAC championships—including a program best 16-3 overall record and undefeated league mark this past season. Mansa will leave Northrop as third in the all-time career goal list Mansa plans on studying sports management.

Danielle Smith will play tennis at the University of Saint Francis. Danielle has spent the last two seasons as #1 doubles. Danielle plans to study exercise science and physical therapy at USF.

Destiny Bradfield is joining the women’s volleyball team at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy, an NAIA school in St. Louis. Destiny is a middle/right-side hitter, who tallied 87 kills, 16 blocks, 21 digs, and four aces with a serving percentage of 67 percent. earned three varsity letters, and was named Honorable Mention All-SAC and Academic All-State. Destiny will study pharmacy.
