Record-setting Woodlan basketball player Joe Reidy will continue his basketball career at the University of Saint Francis.
The 6'7" forward signed with the Cougars during a ceremony April 11 at Woodlan. He will join an NAIA program that finished 24-9 this past season, and advanced to the NAIA national semi-finals in 2021.
Joe averaged 21.5 points and 11.1 rebounds per game in his senior campaign at Woodlan. He earned 1st Team All-Allen County Athletic Conference honors all four seasons, and All-State honors as a senior. He helped Woodlan to the ACAC Tournament championship as a sophomore and was named Hilliard Gates ACAC Tournament MVP as a senior. He was also named Academic All-State.
For his career, Joe owns the Warriors' career scoring record at 1,809 points. He also set records for career rebounds and career blocks.
Joe plays his AAU basketball with Gym Rats/Indy Heat. He also trains with PSM Performance's Edge sports performance program, and was February's PSM Performance Athlete Spotlight.
Joe plans to study business at Saint Francis.
