Jalen Jackson, one of the state's top scoring basketball players this season, was named to the Indiana All-Stars team on Monday.
Jalen, a guard at Northrop High School, is one of twelve seniors selected to the prestigious squad.
Jalen was second in the state in scoring this season at 27.6 points per game. He added 9.6 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.1 assists per game in his lone season at Northrop, which finished 14-11. Jalen shot 50.3 percent from the floor and 74.3 percent from the free throw line. The University of Illinois-Chicago recruit was a Junior All-Star last season at Carroll.
He scored a career high 43 points on December 14 against Leo, and finished his high school career with 1,498 points (20.5 per game).
Jalen is the fourth Northrop boys basketball player in school history to be named an Indiana All-Star.
He trains with PSM Performance through the Edge program at the SportONE/Parkview Fieldhouse and at Northrop High School.
The Indiana All-Stars will play the Kentucky All-Stars June 10 in Owensboro, Kentucky, and June 11.
