North Side senior Nate Spurlock made his college baseball choice official on September 1, signing with Allegany College of Maryland.
The Legends pitcher was flanked by coaches during the signing ceremony inside Bey Hey Arena.
Nate was introduced to Allegany College through a chance meeting between his club baseball coach and the Allegany Coach, which led to the Allegany staff watching video and beginning the recruiting process for Nate.
Allegany College is a junior college in Cumberland, Maryland.
Nate plans to study education, and is interested in becoming a history teacher. But first, he will ride his dream of playing college baseball as far as it takes him.
