Three Snider High School seniors celebrated their college athletic plans during a May 17 signing ceremony at the school.
Tre Hurst will play football at Trine University. Tre played linebacker for the Panthers, earning Honorable Mention All-Summit Athletic Conference honors. Tre tallied was second on the team in tackles (53) this past fall. He added an interception and a 69-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Tre plans to study mechanical engineering.
Mariah Milledge is joining the women's volleyball team at Huntington University. Mariah recorded 173 kills and 42 blocks in her senior season. She was named 2nd Team All-SAC. Mariah plans to study nursing.
Twin brother, Kobe Milledge, will continue his running career at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Kobe will run cross country and distance events in track for the Mastodons. In cross country, he qualified for semi-state in back-to-back seasons. In track, he was part of the SAC champion 4x800-meter relay team as sophomore He is undecided on a major.
