Zane put pen to paper during a ceremony April 28 at the school. Saint Francis is an NAIA school that plays in the Crossroads League. The Cougars advanced to the NAIA national Final Four this past season.
Zane played three seasons at Blackhawk Christian, helping the Braves to two state championships and 79 wins.
