South Side High School senior Isaac Combs will continue his running career at Huntington University.
Isaac put pen to paper during a signing ceremony on March 10 at the school, joining the Forester cross country and track & field teams.
Isaac was South Side's top runner his senior season, qualifying individually for the regionals and racing to a 17:32 personal best for the 5,000-meter race. He also was named team MVP this past season.
In track, Isaac expects to run the mile and longer.
Isaac is also a member of the South Side baseball team, and ranks second in the Archer Class of 2021.
He plans to study biochemistry at Huntington.
