Concordia head coach Tim Mannigel paces the sidelines at the 2016 3A state championship game
State championship football coach Tim Mannigel is stepping down from that position, the school announced March 9.
"It's the right time for me to take a step back and give the program a fresh voice," Mannigel said in a statement.
He will continue to serve as the Cadets athletic director, which he has been since June of 2017.
"Doing both jobs effectively is becoming more difficult," particularly over the last year, he adds.
