Concordia swimmer Finn Brooks claims state runner-up in 100y butterfly

Concordia Lutheran High School senior Finn Brooks raced to a runner-up finish in the 100-yard butterfly at the IHSAA Boys Swimming & Diving State Finals on Saturday, February 27.

Finn finished in the race 48.21, just over one second behind first place.

Additionally, Finn placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.27. Just .51 of a second separate first (19.72) from fifth (20.29) in that race.



He placed fifth in both events at the state finals as a junior.

Finn has verbally committed to Indiana University, where he plans to start swimming in the fall of 2021.
