Lakeland High School senior Brayden Bontrager now holds the career scoring record for Lakers boys basketball.

Brayden's three-point field goal in the second quarter put him at 1,529 points, surpassing the record of 1,528 points set by his brother, Camron, in 2018.

Brayden's family was on-hand to witness the school history, and Camron even presented Brayden a commemorative ball for the accomplishment.

Brayden finished with 31 points and 13 rebounds in Lakeland's overtime loss to Northridge. Brayden now sits at 1,550 points with five regular season games to go before the postseason.
