Anna Moster says playing college volleyball has been a dream ever since she started playing the sport. Now, that dream has become a reality.
The outside hitter for Homestead High School and Empowered Volleyball Academy's 18 Black team put pen to paper on November 30, joining women's volleyball program at Eastern Illinois University, an NCAA Division I program that plays in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Anna was joined by family, teammates and coaches for a signing ceremony at Empowered Sports Club.
Anna was named an All-Summit Athletic Conference and All-District by the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association. She had 239 kills and 28 blocks as a senior; and tallied 408 career kills. Homestead won back-to-back 4A sectional championships her junior and senior seasons.
She plans to study sports marketing at EIU.
