Woodlan's Mendenhall Twins both will play basketball at Manchester University

For Mitchell and Kate Mendenhall, and a basketball career together that dates back to childhood and played out at Woodlan will continue when they both represent Manchester University on the court starting next year.

The Mendenhall Twins both signed on with the Spartans on March 31. Manchester is an NCAA Division III university that plays in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Mitchell, a forward, earned All-Allen County Athletic Conference the last two seasons: 1st team as a senior and 2nd team as a sophomore. He led Woodlan to the ACAC Tournament championship, and was named tourney MVP.

Kate was a key contributor for a Lady Warriors team that swept the ACAC Tournament and regular season championships.
