West Noble High School senior Joel Mast will continue his tennis career at Spring Arbor University.
Mast put pen to paper on March 10 during a ceremony at the school. Family, friends, coaches and teammates were on-hand to celebrate the occasion. Spring Arbor is an NAIA school in southcentral Michigan.
Mast was the Chargers' No. 1 singles player, advancing to the regional final this past October. He finished 25-1 as a senior, and won the Northeast Corner Conference Tournament No. 1 singles title. His phenominal season earned him All-State and All-District.
He also played golf and basketball at West Noble.
He plans to study education with hopes of becoming a middle school teacher.
