Snider girls basketball guard Jordyn Poole has been named to the prestigious 2024 Indiana All-Star team.
Jordyn is one of 13 seniors across the state selected to this year's All-Star team, which will play the Kentucky All-Stars in two separate contests this summer.
In 24 games this season, Jordyn averaged 16.9 points on 44% shooting for 4A #4 Snider (22-3), which won the Summit Athletic Conference championship and a third-straight sectional title. She added 2.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.5 steals per game this season, and earned her fourth-straight 1st Team All-Summit Athletic Conference selection, as well.
Jordyn will graduate from Snider with 1,386 career points, or 15.2 points per game. As a junior, she won the Tiffany Gooden Award as most outstanding player--boy or girl--in the SAC and was named an Indiana Junior All-Star. She is a four-time All-State selection and will likely be honored as All-Northeast Indiana later this spring.
Jordyn is the fifth Snider Panther--all girls--to be named an Indiana All-Star as senior, joining her former head coach Akilah Sims (2012), Liza Clemons (2011), Tiffany Gooden (1994 Miss Basketball) and Donna Gill (1988).
Jordyn signed in November her national letter of intent to play women's basketball at Purdue.
She trains with PSM's EDGE sports performance program, an athlete-centered individualized training program that helps athletes of all sports and levels maximize their athleticism.
The Indiana All-Stars will play the Kentucky All-Stars on June 7 in Kentucky (location to-be-determined) and June 8 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
