A leader of North Side's defense will continue his football career at the collegiate level.
Senior defensive lineman Davon Doughty signed Friday with Trine University, an NCAA Division III program in Angola, Indiana.
Davon earned 1st Team All-SAC honors in his senior season. He tallied 49 tackles (23 for loss), 16 sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
