Head Men's Basketball Coach, Chad LaCross, adds another astounding accolade to his college basketball coaching tenure. 300 Career Wins.
LaCross is the fastest USF men's basketball coach to 50 wins (2011-12), the fastest to 100 wins (2014-15), fastest to 150 in 2015-16 when his team finished a USF record 33-5 and in 2017-18 he became the fastest to 200 wins guiding USF to its third NAIA Championship title game in three seasons. LaCross entered his 13th season (2022-2023) with 290 wins. LaCross is, safe to say, the fastest USF Men's Basketball Coach to 300 wins.
LaCross's win last night (1/11/23) over No. 16-ranked Marian University Knights has now set another milestone in his career. The Cougars are 10-8 on the 2022-2023 Season thus far and 3-5 in the Crossroads League Play. LaCross is also joined by a veteran coaching staff consisting of Luke Cummings (13th Season), Todd Martin (12th Season), Jeff Dollens (7th Season), and Zach Welkin (9th Season).
