Transparency in Coverage (TIC)

In November 2020, the Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor, and Treasury issued the TiC Final Rules, which requires non-grandfathered, group health plans to make certain in-network, negotiated rate and out-of-network billed and allowed amount data publicly available. Parkview will pull and post this information each month in a Machine-Readable File (MRF) format with mandatory file specifications.

As of now, the TiC Final Rules will also require non-grandfathered, group health plans to make additional participant-focused disclosures in phases over the next couple of years.  Parkview plans to make that information available, upon request and as otherwise required, when those requirements take effect.
