Acrylic Painting: The Warmth of a Welcome Candle

Center for Healthy Living

Join us for an afternoon of acrylic painting with local artist, Carl Mosher. For the month of September, you’ll enjoy painting a rainy-day scene of an old farmhouse in the woods. The warm burning flames from the red taper candles in the forefront of the scene contrast sharply against the dreary greys of not only a rainy day but the dark hues of an old house. The sharply detailed raindrops and streaks on the window add a dampness to the overall scene making the candle seem even more welcoming and warm. Once you’re finished with your painting, it’s as if you’re looking through a window on a rainy day outward to an old farmhouse. All supplies are furnished for this class. This is for the beginner to intermediate painter.

Cost: $25

Registration is required. Call 260-266-6500 or toll free at 844-835-0003 to register.
