Park Farther Project
Regular physical activity is important – it provides more energy, stronger muscles, less stress, and burns excess calories. The Park Farther project promotes the benefits of physical activity in a simple, cost-free way.
We are partnering with businesses and organization to encourage you to take a few more steps to see the benefits of physical activity.
As part of the Park Farther Project, the most remote parking stalls of large lots in the area are painted with the green LiVe logo and the message, "Park here to walk farther and be healthier."
To schedule the Park Farther project for your organization or for more information please contact Tai Felger at (260) 373-7913 or Tai.Felger@parkview.com.

Walking is the easiest, most accessible way to be more active.
If you add just 2,000 more steps to your day, you may never gain another pound. One mile = 2,000 steps or 20 minute walk.
Walking helps you maintain a positive outlook and can make you look and feel younger.
Longest walk recorded: A man named George Meegan walked 19,019 miles over seven years – from the tip of South American to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. (Source: The Longest Walk: An Odyssey of the Human Spirit, 1989)
