As a Parkview Whitley Hospital volunteer, you become an important part of the hospital and service team. Your efforts will benefit the hospital and the patients we serve in countless ways. By volunteering, you can obtain personal satisfaction from contributing to the well-being of people in need. Every year, many volunteers find fulfillment, practical work experience and companionship at Parkview Whitley Hospital.

 
To be considered for a volunteer position, please:
  • Submit an application

  • Provide proof of age (16 years or older)

  • Provide one personal reference

  • Complete an interview

  • Be screened for TB (tuberculosis testing)

  • Attend orientation

Volunteer Opportunities

Greeter

Welcome our guests, escort, transport wheelchair patients and run errands. This position requires the ability to be on your feet and on the go.

Gift shop cashier

Operate the cash register and credit card machine, provide customer service to our guests and help with other tasks in the gift shop.

Clerical assistant

Many of our clerical areas use volunteer assistance for a variety of duties.

Clinic assistant

Help with telephones, room changes, escorts and a variety of tasks for our outpatient clinics.
