Services for all ages

Parkview Behavioral Health provides inpatient services for children, adolescents and adults, as well as intensive outpatient programs for adults. We offer exceptional care to people of all ages suffering from emotional or chemical dependency problems.

Experienced mental health professionals are ready to provide the appropriate level of treatment, whether individuals need short-term supervised treatment or more complex medical attention.

Age-specific programs address patient needs and circumstances:

Youth Services

  • Children’s program for ages 5 to 11

  • Adolescent program for ages 12 to 18

Adult Services

  • Inpatient programs for those whose mental health or substance abuse issues require short-term intervention

  • Parkview DiscoveryWay, an outpatient program for those who struggle with the invisible wounds of mental illness

  • Parkview RecoveryWay, an outpatient program for those who struggle with chemical dependency

Older Adult Services

  • BridgeWays, located on the third floor of Parkview Hospital Randallia, provides treatment for the unique needs of older adults

Mental health expertise

Our highly skilled, multidisciplinary mental health team is highly regarded in the region for its expertise. We work collaboratively with other healthcare facilities, nursing homes, schools and law enforcement agencies to provide appropriate care for individuals who have mental illnesses. We also share our knowledge with, and provide training to, area professionals such as the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Crisis Intervention Team on caring for patients with mental illnesses.

Our mental health team includes:

  • Licensed, master’s-level therapists

  • Certified therapeutic recreational therapists

  • Mental health technicians

Parkview Behavioral Health is certified by the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction for addiction services. We are a licensed Medicare and Medicaid provider, and we accept most major insurance plans.
