Parkview Whitley Hospital’s cardiopulmonary rehabilitation staff provides a variety of services for patients with heart and lung disease.
- Smoking cessation classes
- Stress reduction classes
- Monitored exercise sessions
- Education about risk factors, diet, medications and physical conditioning
Rehabilitation exercise sessions are held in Parkview Whitley Hospital's Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center, which offers patients the use of treadmills, stationary bicycles, step machines and free weights.
Parkview Whitley Hospital’s cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
Cardiopulmonary diagnostic services
Patients with bronchitis, emphysema, pneumonia, asthma, chest pain, shortness of breath, lung cancer, congestive heart failure, snoring, insomnia and sleep apnea are among those served by our cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program.
All patients who participate in the cardiopulmonary services programs are referred by their physician.

Sleep Disorders Lab
Parkview Whitley Hospital's Sleep Disorders Lab is dedicated to helping its patients overcome sleep disorders and enjoy the benefits of a better night’s rest.
The Sleep Disorders Lab is designed for those with narcolepsy, sleep apnea and other disorders that lessen the quality or duration of their sleep.
Parkview Whitley Hospital's Sleep Clinic is staffed by a registered polysomnographic technologist and a medical director who is certified in sleep medicine.
