Visiting hours
Visiting hours are not restricted unless limited hours are requested by the patient or necessary for medical reasons. Balancing our patients’ need for rest and their desire for visitors is important, so visiting hours are based on the discretion of patient and the care team. Patients have the right to refuse visitation.
The care team members ultimately decide whether a patient’s condition warrants visitors, and may deny visitation in the best interest of the patient, or grant extended visitation to immediate family members only.
Tobacco-free campus
All Parkview Health campuses are tobacco-free. No tobacco use of any kind is permitted – inside or outside – on the property. Parkview’s decision to be tobacco-free demonstrates an ongoing commitment to a healthier work environment and a better experience for patients and their families.
